GRASS Terms of Service

Welcome to GRASS, operated by GRASS Outdoor CO., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). Please carefully read the following Terms of Service before using the Service. By registering an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Description

GRASS is an outdoor activity-based social platform designed to help users meet like-minded friends and partners through real outdoor experiences. The Service includes but is not limited to: profile creation, Outdoor Passport, buddy matching, group adventures, and instant messaging features.

2. Account Registration and Use

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register and use the Service.
You must provide truthful, accurate, and complete personal information.
Each user may only maintain one account.

Where we have reasonable grounds to determine that the same user maintains multiple accounts, GRASS may restrict, disable, or terminate the duplicate accounts without prior warning. If fraud, harassment, or evasion of account restrictions is also involved, we may take action under Section 8 against accounts involved in that conduct. If you believe an account was mistakenly identified as a duplicate, you may request human review under Section 8.

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and must not share your account with third parties.
If you discover unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.
You are responsible for losses attributable to your failure to manage your account securely, to the extent of your responsibility. This does not exclude any liability GRASS has under applicable law.

3. User Conduct Guidelines

When using the Service, you agree not to:

Post false, misleading, or impersonating personal information.
Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or direct abuse at others, including persisting after rejection, using aggressive messages to pressure someone, or sending unwanted sexually harassing messages.
Post pornographic, violent, hateful, or other inappropriate content.
Engage in unauthorized commercial solicitation, advertising, direct selling, insurance or investment sales, spam, or fraud.
Knowingly submit false reports, threaten or retaliate against a reporter, or evade account restrictions to continue violating these terms.
Collect or store other users' personal information.
Use automated tools or scripts to access the Service.
Attempt to breach, interfere with, or disrupt the security or operation of the Service.
Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

We assess conduct in context. Different dating preferences, good-faith reports, appeals, or negative reviews alone are not violations.

4. Content Ownership

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on the Service. You grant GRASS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content to provide and promote the Service. This license does not include making private conversations public for advertising, promotion, or other marketing purposes. We may process relevant content to provide messaging, maintain safety, and handle reports and disputes under our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Use involving personal data, likeness rights, or third-party rights remains subject to applicable law, including any requirement for separate consent or permission.

4.2 GRASS Content

Trademarks, logos, designs, text, images, and software within the Service are owned by GRASS or its licensors. They may not be reproduced, modified, or used in any way without written permission.

5. Paid Services

The Service offers free basic features and paid premium features.
Paid subscriptions will automatically renew based on your selected plan unless cancelled before the expiration date.
After you cancel renewal, premium features generally remain available until the end of the billing period. Account restrictions or termination for violations still apply during that period.
The same conduct rules apply to all users. A subscription or other purchase does not excuse violations or guarantee that an account will remain unrestricted.
Suspending, deleting, or terminating an account does not mean that a subscription with the payment platform has automatically been cancelled. Check your renewal status with the original payment platform, or contact support for help.
Cancellation, charges for unused periods, and refunds are handled according to applicable law, the terms of your purchase, the original payment platform's rules, and the circumstances of the case. Account enforcement does not remove any refund or other consumer rights you have under applicable law.

6. Disclaimer

The following applies to the extent permitted by applicable law:

Except as expressly promised or required by law, the Service is provided "as is" without any guarantee of particular matching, dating, or activity outcomes.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
When taking part in activities organized by users or third parties, users should assess their fitness, the location, weather, and activity risks and take reasonable precautions. Contacting others or signing up through the Service does not by itself make GRASS the organizer or a guarantor of safety. This does not exclude responsibility where GRASS actually organizes an activity or is liable under applicable law.
Other users are responsible for their conduct, content, and statements. Verification, report handling, or safety detection does not guarantee that a user's identity, statements, or conduct are genuine or safe, or mean that we have reviewed every item of content. Our legal obligations still apply.
We recommend taking appropriate safety precautions before meeting others in person.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GRASS and its affiliates, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service. This limitation does not apply to intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded in advance. If a provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent they can lawfully stand independently.

8. Termination and Suspension

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account. To keep the community safe, we may also address violations and safety concerns as follows:

Reports, appeals, or safety detection may lead us to review information needed for the case, including account information, relevant messages and context, interactions, and prior enforcement records. Our Privacy Policy and applicable law govern this use of data.
GRASS may assess whether a violation has occurred and determine an appropriate response, within reasonable and necessary bounds, based on the available information, the conduct involved, its impact on other users or service safety, and prior history.
Except for duplicate accounts handled under Section 2, we generally issue a warning for ordinary violations. Repeated violations after a warning, serious misconduct, or a need to reduce an immediate safety risk may lead to feature restrictions, suspension, or permanent account termination without prior warning. Necessary temporary restrictions may also apply during an investigation.
We will explain the outcome and main reason through the app or email, including the suspension period or conditions for restoration where applicable. To protect privacy, safety, and the integrity of investigations, we may withhold individual evidence, report sources, safety detection methods, decision thresholds, and internal review details, subject to any legal duty to disclose information.
We generally do not disclose a reporter's identity, the original report, or information identifying third parties to the reported user, except where legally required. This does not remove your right to make a personal data request under applicable law.
If you believe a decision is wrong, you may request human review by emailing service@grass.camp with your account information, specific reasons, or new evidence. Repeated appeals with the same reasons and no new information may receive the existing outcome; material new information will still be considered.
After termination, data is handled under our Privacy Policy. Relevant records may be retained where lawful and necessary to resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, or prevent evasion of enforcement.

A warning, reinstatement, or delay in taking action does not waive GRASS's right to address later violations under these terms. Users must not evade restrictions by registering again, using someone else's account, or other means. We may impose necessary restrictions on accounts we reasonably determine are being used to evade enforcement.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these terms and will show the updated date. For material changes, we will explain the changes and their effective date through an in-app notice or email and obtain consent where required by law. New conduct restrictions will not be the sole basis for retrospectively finding a violation; earlier conduct is assessed under the terms and law that applied at the time.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without excluding mandatory consumer protections or other rights that cannot be waived by contract. The Taipei District Court is the agreed court of first instance, subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules and any right consumers have under applicable law to bring a claim in another court.
